What is a noise reduction curve?
Typical attenuation curves are representative of the amount of dynamic attenuation (insertion loss) expected with the respective silencer. The final performance of a silencer may vary as it is dependent upon the frequency and intensity of the unsilenced noise. Attenuation curves are accurate only for airborne noise, having no bearing on structure-borne or pipe radiated noise upstream of silencer.
One of the most common and preventable blower repair situations is product contamination. When product fills the air chamber of a blower impeller, the typical result is severe vibration, abrasion, and increased operating temperature which wears the impellers, headplates, bearings and causes seal damage.
Inspect your filter element every 40 hours or more depending on your operating conditions. The element should be clean and free of product. If you need to replace your filter element, call us with the brand and element number.
